96 Boys Compete in Goalie Wars - : 01/28/2010 Chance and Jared, along with 5 team members (Michael, Keoni, Andrew, Josh and Corey V) from the 96 Aces Black competed in the Keeper Wars Competition. The competition featured two sessions: Keeper Wars (goalies compete against each other) and Back at you Beckham (keepers facing 15 shots from opposing teams specialists). There were 8 keepers (teams) in Chance and Jared’s bracket (several D1). Both boys represented themselves and the Aces club extremely well. Chance beat all 6 keepers he faced and took first place in the Keeper Wars. In the Back at you Beckham session, Michael, Keoni and Josh paired with Jared while Corey V and Andrew teamed with Chance. After a tough semifinal match that went to keeper on keeper PK’s, Chance, Corey V and Andrew moved on to the finals where they ended up taking second place for the session. With the combined score for both events, Chance won the Overall Keeper Award for his age group. The Aces should be proud of all of the boys. Congratulations!!!!!!!
